The boys came out aggressive with high pressure and took advantage of mistakes made by Lutheran from the pressure to capitalize on 5 goals in the first half. We were able to move the ball well and force Lutheran into chasing us and the ball all over the field. Good start to the season but still have plenty to work on at practice and things to improve on.
With his 2nd goal Emiliano Arteaga became the all time leading goal scorer at Mendota High School. He currently sits at 48 career goals and hopefully will continue to increase that total throughout the season!
