Mendota with a huge win tonight vs defending conference champs!! 2-1 overtime win.  Trojans trailed 1-0 at half despite playing a solid first half. Ivan Figueroa got the Trojans on the board 10min into second half with a free kick from 25yards out to tie things 1-1. The game went into overtime where Yahir Diaz netted the game winner with just over 1min left in overtime. Freshmen Jasiel Watson had the assist.

This was a fantastic win for our team and our confidence this season!  We talked all summer about being able to hold our own against anyone in the conference and area. This game goes to show our team while young is capable of beating anyone. This will be a huge confidence booster to the whole team moving forward this season.
